zxr400 engine swap

wasnt sure where i should post this so thought i would try here... my zxr engine is getting old and not running aswell as it once did and this couple with the fact i would like a faster bike it got my thinking whether an engine swap would be possible? ive heard the ZZR600 engine will go straight in? anyone know if this is true or have any experience of fitting a 600 engine? thanks in advance
