Just getting everything ready for my ride to work in the morning, then had a look out my window!! :smt013 I now have an inch of snow laying crisply all over the road!!

Was out riding on Christmas Day and New Years day, then when I have to go back to work it bloody snows!! Thing is, if I ring my boss and tell him I will be late due to the snow he'll say "told you so, should have got a car!!" and I'll have to kick him in the nut's really hard!!

Was thinking of ski's on my feet and a snowboard strapped to the front? Any idea's

Or the Bus? Or push bike....

ive woken up to the same scene, except that it hasnt laid on the road. So no excuse for me.

I thought about getting a taxi then thought "Nahh!"

There's nothing like a few hundred metres of completely untreated road along a main schools driveway to get you ready for the first day back at work!

Bet the little fkrs would have loved to see me come a cropper! :wanker

The main roads were fine as long as you didn't stray out to the edges. I'm still loving how I can crawl along on tickover with this 9's engine as well! I think there will be some taxi rides this week though.

t'is ok crawling along on tickover just takes 3 hours to get to work

i had to ride in the snow as well

were propper icey on the way home tonight tho!

Know the feeling, i too not one of these girly summer biker types. Wasnt too bad when i got out of my road (took ten minutes), nearly died when hit a patch of ice and over shot the junction, luckily nothing coming towards it as well. Also done this morning, same problem out of me drive, now an ice rink, but fine once on the road.
