Hi all

I am thinking of buying a bike which looks sporty a good, and I like the look of KAWASAKI ZXR 400 very much.
The problem is, that I am a bike beginner newbie (I was driving only few HP scooters before and only a little).
The second problem is, that I am quite tall - cca. 189 cm and I have 95 kg.
So my question is:
Is this bike also suitable for me (189 cm tall beginner biker) - is it not too dangerous for beginner and can I put my body on that bike?

I dont want to drive long distances, so the driving comfort is not necesarry (I really love the way this bike looks like).

Thanks for replyes.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

There are quite a number of taller riders here, im 6 foot 1 inch tall which is about 185cm according to an online calculator, and i have no problems with riding except on longer journeys.

Theres 1 or two people here who are even taller than me and manage ok, so expect you will be ok too.

I wouldnt say its ideal a ZXR400 being your first ever bike, but as long as you keep calm and dont go silly on it while you get used to it id say you will be ok.

Im 6'3 and 95kg, zxr400 was my first proper bike, took some getting used to but otherwise is fine, regularly ride from bristol to home, which is about 130 miles each way, only need a few minutes leg stretch half way!
