I was tempted to use some. Is it any better than sprayin some carb cleaner down the throats? I was just worried about how much smoke it creates?

Only smokes if you put too much in, if it doesnt smoke then thats fine. Read the nstruction it tells you how much per litre to put in. You only need t run it through once in a while. Ive always filled the tank brim full, stuck it in and then ridden it till i fill up again.

Done my old Scotrail van with it, as per instructions I poured it down the carb throat while holding the rev's at around 2K.
Next thing I knew was I had created a Smog cloud half the length of Calder street (Glasgow) and cars were driving by with their lights on!!
bonnet down and quick exit too flat for a cuppa was called for
Cured the erratic running though
Good stuff

apparently a common fault on vectras is the valve seats clog up and a well known cure is to remove all plugs and fill all barrels to the top with redex and leave for 24 hours, then spin the engine to remove the redex and put the plugs back in, was gonna try it on our vectra but never felt brave enough.
