nitro are cheap and nasty, HJC do some good lids, caberg sounds too much like cabbage, ask redexRobB he;s got one, Airoh are supposed to be pretty good from what i've heard, shark have a good reputation, KBc are good lids, Craft are the best and simpsons are just fit for a king if you got the money!
my opinions anyway!

i cal tell you my experience but the best thing to do is try them! We can praise all we want about certain makes, but if it dont fit, you shouldnt wear it.
The caberg i had was crap, i now have a Roof Daytono 010 helmet and its bloody great!

there no point buying them before trying them. You could have the worlds most expensive lid yet when it comes to a crash if it dosnt fit right you'd have been better off with the cheapest that dos fit right.
Also check its rating on here:

agreed, i rode with nitro over last 2 years whilst racing and have no complaints with them, i wrote 3 of them off. My head is still the same shape and i'm no more daft than before the 3 crashes.
The times where people slate a brand because of price hopefully will soon be gone, check out the tests, they aint bad at all.

Some nitro lids got a 4/5 star rating in the sharp test, not all are bad!
