Coming along quite nicely. Should be done by the 3rd. :smt003

Brian at AMS has sourced me a set of Beet downpipes with (if I heard hime right) a Tangelini carbon/kevlar can. Should be good. Just waiting on the rear wheel before I stick all the bits togerther. Other than a few other niggles I'm making good progress.

Had to replace the wiring loom though. I have to say I am confused as to why different year models have different colured wires in the wiring loom? Surely for the ease of servicing you'd keep the same colours for all bikes in your range for certain switches, etc? :smt017

Yep, it is indeed the AMS ram air system. The quality is fantastic and doesn't take much fettling either. Well worth the money. :smt003

LMAO. Yeah the single head light is a bit 'Mike'. I reckon the fairings look a lot better in the flesh than they do in pictures though.

Just got the bill for the ZX9R 5.5" rear wheel conversion........ £55. Enables me to put a 180 section slick on for fast tracks mike Silverstone where quick turning isn't so important. Spindle and swing arm haven't been altered so I can change between that and the original any time I like.

Will get some pics up once it's on the bike.

Hi there.

It's not the AMS seat. It's a Honda 04'-06' CBR 600 RR seat bought from a company in Germany called GFK-Mototeile (ebay). Good quality and about £60. Delivery takes about 5 days.

Hi Mate.
I had to trim the front edges down as they were a bit long and the front seat sits in two loops at the rear. I had to cut those off with a hack saw. Then it just slides on. About 45 minutes work in total with a good dremmel tool.

Just taken delivery of the exhaust from AMS. Beet titanium system and it weighs nothing. :smt003 The Termignoni end can is looking rather sweet as well. Should now be able to complete the project this weekend. Will post pictures once it's done.

I should also mention that the rear subframe on the L model comes in two sections, and that I'm only using the front (riders seat) section here.
