Replacement Radiator quick question

Hi all
Just had my 400 fail Mot on the forks. Got them replaced OK but the rad needs replacing
Quick question.... do 1990 rads (which I think are curved not straight but stand to be corrected) fir the L models?

Hi,
The only model to have a straight rad was the H1, after which all subsequent models had a curved rad. But, there is again a difference between the H2 and L rads which is the lugs for mounting. The H2 lugs are on the sides and the Lās are on top.

Good luck finding a rad for an L model... As rare as a rare thing gets
A recore will cost you Ā£300 - 350 if that needs doing.
What's actually wrong with the rad?

Hi
Apparently it is leaking around the filler cap
You are right they are like hens teeth. H version more common for some reason.
I did find one from Romania inc fan. Cost ā¬103 and as we are no longer in the EU delivery was ā¬90 (instead of ā¬10!)
Found it by searching on part no rather than description
