Group Day Out - Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Run!

Ok, i know people have tried to organise meetups before and they have not been all that successfull...but this one will be different as it includes pork pies!! PIES!!!!
The run looks like this:
http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcyc ... 94f39.html
And is fairly central to all those that have added markers to the map in the "Getting to know you..." section. Plus it includes Pies, did i already mention that?
Who is up for a late summer meet-up and run, get as many zxr400's together and have a little bit of a blast in the countryside!
It would be a weekend day, so a saturday/sunday. Saturday morning/afternoon would probably be best as there is little chance that it will interfere with anyone's race day/motogp/bsb/f1/wsb/club racing timetables...
If anyone is interested get your name down with a list of dates YOU DEFINITELY CANNOT DO between mid august and late september. That way i can get an idea of the best probable weekend.
PIES!!!

				and your problem is?
1) its a weekend, students dont work weekends, you just sit around, finger in a bird and a pint in the other hand.
2) i have a spare room for someone to stay over in.
3) working in a uni as i do i know when term times are, we can schedule around that .

Ok lets get some things confirmed:-
Pie Run 2012
Date: Saturday the 1st of September
Meetup location: Tesco Car Park, On 'Crossfield Drive' just off the A607 'Thorpe Road', Melton Mowbray, LE13 1SQ, meet up in the bit of car park just south of the fuel pumps.
Time: Meetup from 12noon to 1pm to have a look at everyones bikes, have a natter and get fuel, leave Tesco at 1pm sharp, i will PM my mobile number to anyone interested.
Route: Ill bang it in my GPS to make sure we stick to something approaching this, Google puts it at ~64 miles (
http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcyc ... 94f39.html).
Speed: Not gonna be a particularly fast blast as im guessing noone knows the route, maybe when we are on the way back and you can just read the signs to Melton Mowbray might open things up a little but we will play it by ear and see what everyone thinks on the day, we will go at the pace of the slowest rider.
Finish Location: Im guessing back to tesco's to refuel, then maybe a ride into town to find a pie seller or 2, maybe a bite to eat at a pub somewhere? I'll eat just about anything
Finish Time: As long as we set off at 1pm, back for 3 - 3:30pm latest, depending on speed and traffic.
Come on then, sign up, you know you want to

Just read your MSG mate, I'll have to let you know, it's likely to be a no as I've got a fair bit going on at the moment, if I did make it, it wouldn't be on the ZXR unfortunately
Unless we can get a forum track day on the go??

You're going to be putting supermarket fuel in your bikes?

I'd rather piss in my tank than fill it with that shite, runs like a bag of nails. Branded petrol with additives is deffo the way to go with a ZXR motor.
