And its back in its rightful place.

9am on Weds I dropped the bike off at OTC Racing.
Pete & Nick were doing the valve clearances for me.
Ballache of a job, hence why I paid them to do it :D

I was just about to leave when I handed them a new throttle cable and twist grip.
"While you have the tank and airbox off, will you fit this and this for me?" :smt002

I was just about to leave again when I turned and handed them a new set of headstock bearings.
"You know you want to, I'll pick it up tomorrow"

Got home about 20mins ago with a massive grin.
Turns out they done the following:-
Shims (4 needed swapping out)
Throttle cable
Twist grip
Bled the brakes
Un-seized the sketchy calipers
Balanced the carbs
Headstock bearings
Replaced a few missing fairing bolts

The bike flew down the motorway, the lump is so smooth once it gets onto the main jets and the throttle response is AMAZING!
Feels just like my ZXR from a couple of years back.

If you are in the North West and you want a reliable, trustworthy mechanic with OCD.....
Pete and Nick are the lads you need to see.

there should be a "like" button on this forum!! Too many dodgy mechanics about - reason I fix my own, so it's great to hear about good mechanics for once!
