Only a few miles to go

alright mate,
im currently eyeing up a 2001 zxr thats done 37000 miles to eplace my little 125cc suzuki, its goin for about 1300 quid. how does yours run having done similar mileage? do u think i can expect it to be a bit of a pig?

mine needed a fair bit of work, smilar milage and cost to yours when i bought it (36k miles, £1200), check the "showcase" section here for my "banner's beast" build.

it all depends on how it has been maintained, and what you want it for. if its a pig and is a project then fair enough, you can work around it, if you wanna commute on it then you will need t mae sure it fufills your criteria. although if you need something reliable you might be advised to look at a more commuter bike, gs500 sv650 even a bandit etc...?

although without looking at it its hard to comment.
