I was out riding with a female friend on the rear

I thought id open the bike up,as i got to 10,000rpm the revs increased and thats it,now i think that it was the clutch slipping,it done it twice.
I attemted to go out riding on my own and it didnt slip once,it was completely fine, has anyone got any suggestions as to why it done this?
im only 73kg and she is 58kg so we are hardly fat, could something be worn or wearing?

any chance it could be the drive chain bushes/rubbers? as the clutch feels fine!

I shouldn't have thought so - if the revs are rising but the speed is staying the same under load then I would imagine it's more likely your clutch. If it was your chain then there would be a really mean mechanical noise with it! Hard to say without looking at the bike mind but sounds more like the clutch.

No it doesn't - it's slipping!

That's how it goes, mate - you give it throttle but the plates are worn so don't grip, meaning the revs rise but no power goes to the chain/wheel.
The plus side is it's one of the easiest jobs on do on a bike, and it'll cost about a 3rd of what a garage will charge you.
Drain oil, take cover off, undo clutch plates, put new ones in and that's it. An hour fannying about on your first go and about 15 mins flat the next time you do it.

I believe you can get away with not draining the oil if you do the job on the sidestand = easier still.
