evening guys
managed to get to spend a full day in the garage today stripping some parts for powder coating and a bit of paint.
I split my front calipers to check condition and re paint but found one of the small seals had been fitted incorrectly in the past,anybody know where i can get some new ones from?
I was thinking maybe Cradley might stock them.
Parts off to powder coaters are clocks mounting bracket ,fairing stay,back brake light switch bracket,dogbones,swingarm,rear brake tie bar
I was thinking of also getting the shock spring powder coated, has anybody had this done before?
I'm not sure if it will hold with a bit of movement the spring is likely to have....any thoughts guys?

If you're talking about the little seals which go round the fluid-ways between the two halves of the caliper (two seals per caliper) then the ONLY option is OEM as no-one makes pattern. As you say, Cradley's are the chaps.

If you need the piston seals then Wemoto do pattern ones which I have used with no problems whatsoever.

I think powder coating the shock should work as I was under the impression that powder coating is softer than paint. If paint will hold powder coating should. But TBH the OEM item is a real shocker ( ) and it is well worth binning for a Nitron. Really, I'm not just pushing some bling here, I can't believe the difference it has made to mine (not knackered by any means at 11k) - literally 20 mph+ minimum through corners and no clenched buttocks . The back end now sticks to road, whereas with OEM if it's bumpy it sort of went for a trip.

yeh...they're the ones......i know what you mean in regards the shocker...but funds are a bit tight at the mo'....but then she'll probably be not on the road this year either... ...i think i'll have to cut down on the cookies to save for a Nitron....
