				Not a happy bunny

				Took my bike to have new fork seals yesterday as the old ones were leaking alittle bit so picked it up yesterday night and took it home and all seemed fine, took the bike out today and there is oil running out the dust covers and dripping on the floor, looks like the new seals are  :wanker   so gonna take it back to the garage first thing monday morning

				What i mean is there are two sets of seals, the dust seal which is the one you see at the very bottom of the stantion and the oil seal which is behind it and further up the stantion.
Changing the dust seal wont fix a leaky oil seal.

The only other option could be that the sliders are bent and is ruining the seals almost instantly.

				Even a tiny bit of pitting or damage to the chrome can cause the seal to fail.......
A new seal will fail regardless of it's newness
Ask your self this question.................what caused the seal to fail in the first place and was action taken to correct it ?

				well its back at the garage and they are gonna fit genuie seals as they fitted copy ones.

				had problems with my seals everymot for 4 or 5 yeas. i went somwhere else and they said the seals were ripping because the forks had a bi of pitting not the type of seals. not sure how to sort it apart from rechroming.

				Pleased to hear its sorted, cheap monkeys. And i suppose they charged you for genuine parts? Hopefully they arent recharging you for a job that should have been done properly in the first place.

				No they replaced it for free as he admitted it was the seals at fault
