hi guys........my oil cooler is looking pretty sorry for itself with most of the cooling fins buggered,but structurely seems ok and wasn't leaking....now,bear with me on this....what with a distinct lack of funds(car needs taxing and a new carbon fibre engine cover),i was thinking of removing the said fins..as bent/damaged fins will in fact reduce the airflow thru the cooler...once buggered fins are gone this 'gap' between the oil ways will have increased air flow over and below them and would still be a viable option to use.....wots your thoughts guys?....or am i just a tight ba**ard...
