Mechanics/magic men in Norn Ireland?

Right...my h1 is being a bitch. After her running a few weeks ago then the twist grip breaking to spoil my fun early (and subsequently getting replaced) the little b?£%£rd wond start.

I think it may be fuel related, the fuel pump seems to stop when there is any resistance placed upon it...

When connected to a fuel source (jerry can) and the output is not connected to the engine ie into a container the petrol flows well and continuously. As soon as its connected to the bike the fuel pump stops.

Ive also tried swearing at it and threatening it, to my surprise, with no avail!!!

I have therefore decided to try to find a professional who knows these bikes in N. Ireland. If i don't im afraid there may be a terrible accident with a gallon of petrol and a match (that was one of the threats i made to it).

Can anyone over here recommend one? and soon?? my patience have worn thin and i think i have no choice but to destroy a kebab and case of guinness tonight!!

Even with 12V applied directly to the fuel pump it will fill the carbs then stop....................if you allow it to pump into say a bucket it will pump away all day untill the 12V source is removed.

Seems to me your fuel pump is OK

Cant come for a look tonight but maybe tomorrow evening ? ? ? ? ? .................I can work all night for Guinness and keebab

Im not sure that it is filling the carbs. It just doesn't really do anything apart from the odd grunt when connected to the bike.

That's a very kind offer and Guinness will be supplied in exchange for knowledge and expertise!

Unfortunately I'm working tomorrow night (Thursday) however my social life at present is such that I'm free Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights if any of them suit? I'll obviously work around you if youre happy to help out
