Manx GP training and getting fitter

I know there are more than one or two members who train and keep themselves fit..............for some time now I've been running in a 5K event every Saturday morning it's a national event and there are dozens all over the country it's called Parkrun

Look for a Parkrun near to you and join in it's easy to register and it's a brilliant way of measuring your fittness and your improvments.

This morning I ran a new Parkrun personal best that was 35 seconds better than last week also a personal best by 52 seconds so in one week I've knocked well over a minute off my time. Also todays time was the fastest 5K I have ever run.

For those doing the Manx GP you need to be able to do 40 press ups and run 5K in under 30 minutes. If you cant do it now you'd better get training
