help with front fork settings

Hi right i have a 1991 L1 ive been adding alot of pro bolts to finsh the bike off, i have just ordered some load adjusters for the front, my question is

what will the load adjusters do besides look cool :smt001 ?
how do i adjust the front forks ?
what are the 2 brass type screws at the top of the front forks seen in the picture ?

i dont want to turn any thing till i know whats what,

also how much should i pay to have me front tyre changed ?

Everything you will ever need to know is right HERE

For a tyre change usually about 10-20 quid + the price of the new tyre.

Hi cheers , ive seen that before , but to be honest it dont mean nothing to me , i still dont understand the top screws , need it in easy terms lol

The little brass screws adjust the rebound dampening

and the hex adjuster changes the spring preload

cheers , there are no marks or numbers , how do you know if they are equal ??

there are marks for the preload and clicks for the rebound

There are, try unscrewing the HEX out a few turns and you will see grooves in the side of them.

The screws will click after about 1/4 turn

if there are no clicks on the brass screws just count the turns out from fully in

the preload marks are ingraved rings on the fork top the more rings you see the less preload.................
