Some of you might know I am on various other boards.
Some time ago a member on the site I am about to link started attacking me and my character and what I do , he did get a ban for a while after nearly having to beat the Admin over the head (he services them :wanker ) but once back on he started over again.
I then just decided to knock it on the head and leave them be, but I've made good friends on there and they do contact me saying they miss my input so I looked in the other day and after about 4 months since last visit, low and behold I start finding more attacks about me from this nugget even though I haven't been on the site in ages and he's been told I've left the site on numerous occasions.
So last night I got him on-line and started to tear into him , surprisingly I didn't wake up to a ban this morning - seems admin have ran away
So, if your bored and want to sign up just to post up what an utter cock this guy is please feel free
His board name is MachIV and first name Bill , but you'll gather that real quick lol

I've just added a bit more fuel tonight - let see what happens

TBH I think your both pathetic, and posting it here for others to see is even more pathetic.
And to think, Mods were to lead by example..........

That's your opinion Wabby and no problem with that.
But I don't think I am Pathetic trying to defend myself - are you saying you just take the punches ?
Mod's aren't to lead by example so please don't put us on a pedestal ! We are here to maintain the site then any other things that cause problems - don't mix or confuse the two
I am human 1st - we all make mistakes
To levitate me above that status is just plain wrong ! And that's my opinion.
MM!
I'll also add:
If someone was directly affecting your income and how you can support your life , family and dwelling are you saying you would let them ?

"arguing on the internet is like competing in the "special" olympics, even if you win you're still retarded"

.
Exactly why for 2yrs I've ignored it - it doesn't matter ! But actually it does cause what it has done is stopped me interacting with people I want to communicate with cause no matter how thick your skin is at some point it hurts !
Hence my Internet warrior remark, but I am only human and if some one in a pub kept having a pop at me like this there would be trouble ! Hands up , I'm guilty as charged.
At some point you have to stand up and say enough is enough, even if your protected by a a firewall it matters. otherwise we might all as well just blatantly slag each other off all day long if your not willing to accept the consequences of your actions as there is no physical consequence of your action.
I live in a generation where we were disciplined for our actions and not "I'll have you sued", "arrested ", "you can't do that" and you know what, I'm still here, I haven't ever been arrested, I haven't murdered, stolen or cheated anyone yet I was punished for misdemeanour's that the youth now taunt in their elders face as " You can't touch me" why is that right be it electronically or organic ? You need set rules to conduct yourself in life - the ones you don't see are getting up for work every morning , shaving , ironing a shirt , be in at 9 leave at 5 , have your lunch for 1 hour , no illness on a Monday with out a Doctors line - these are all rules to make you fall in line yet your not putting up "that's all dick" or "pathetic"
So me defending my self against attack by the only means available is now unacceptable ! Another one for the PC police then ?

I cba to sign up to that forum to reply.
Besides.. since i'd have only 1 post, no doubt from reading his (MachIV) other replies to people i'd get a "fuque-off" response.
After trawling through all 8 pages (*Yawn*) It appears that he doesn't seem to grasp that different markets have different prices.
example.
Part X:
US Cost: $300.00
US Shipping: £15.00
Total: $315.00 to a US customer from MachIV
JP Cost: ¥37,550
Shipping / Import Costs ¥9050
Profit / Labour / Margin / Business fees etc. ¥4500
Total cost to a US customer: $565.00
Total profit for Japanese dealer $50.00
So while the final cost of the part shipped from Japan may appear to be double that of what is available in the US, the seller is infact making only $50.00
This is childsplay mathematics, but MachIV seems to have failed to grasp economies of scale, shipping and importing costs along with exchange rates.
A friend brought a 2Brothers exhaust system from the US 2 years ago when the pound was very strong against the dollar, even with shipping costs it was half the price of the same model availble here in the UK, the UK retailers were not making twice the profit though as they had to buy them in at a higher price.
Shims are another example, in the UK they cost around £5.50 but are availble to buy in Japan a lot cheaper, vice-versa there are parts in the UK that can be had cheaper than their Japanese counter-parts.
You can buy cigarettes in europe that are exported from the UK cheaper than you can buy them in the UK themselves! This is again to do with taxes, market prices etc.
In the case he refers too, it seems obvious that it was indeed cheaper for the buyer to get the part from the US locally, but theres no doubt in my mind Mori was offering a fair price for the parts he had available at the time, it wasn't simply a case of, buy cheap parts from the Japanese dealer and stick $300.00 on top as MachIV seems to have in his head.
