Just had a poke through the manual and you need to measure resistance across the black/yellow wire (ground), and, black (+v). iirc the connector is under the airbox between the headstock and top of the engine. You could try wiring directly to the battery to see if it works too.RedexRobB wrote:yeah it should work with ignition off too, did you check the fuse again after re-trying? Hopefully its not blown again. If it has you'll need to get to the fan wiring and measure the resistance across the fan motor, if its 0 ohms then the motor has shorted internally. If not then your problem is elsewhere.
Alternatively, connect up the wires down by the radiator and measure the voltage across the connector where the fan plugs in, you should see 12v on the blue/white wire. Theres a wiring diagram on page 15-29 of the electrical system section in the manual.
