That's a 125, but it was more powerful than I was meant to have on L plates.

Because of the power to weight ratio it has to be restricted for a restricted license holder aswell, same as the aprillia rs125.
Its not just a bhp restriction.

still dunno why you guys want a restricted license? in the end it's cheaper just to go DAS.

If the restrictors are already in there, leave them in, if you're on restricted licence.
Deliberately removing them and claiming it is still restricted will get you in more trouble if found out than just not having them in the first place.
Not that you'll ever get found out.

Or just ride a de-restricted 125 for a bit longer. Wayyyy cheaper to insure.
