Update 
 just had another mess about with it. found out that if i press the clutch switch in it turns over 
 so it will only turn the engine over with the clutch left out and engaged :S

yea, but isnt the bike only meant to start with the clutch pulled in ? this one seems to be the other way around

IIRC, you only need to pull the clutch in if the bike is in gear...maybe its a symptom of something else? the bike has a neutral switch by the gear sellector lever, a problem there perhaps?callum@93 wrote:yea, but isnt the bike only meant to start with the clutch pulled in ? this one seems to be the other way around

yea maybe, il have to get the multi meter out :/ Electrics arnt my thing either, il have to learn.
