Re: looking for advice
i want bigger & more torque... the day i have money i'm heading for a triumph 1050 tripple!
or maybe even a big harley engine... the 2.5 litre twin can produce 180bhp without breaking a sweat, at about 3,000 rpm. would be novel. would also take up the area under the tank with antique cylinder heads, but i'd fit a tail tank. but that'll involve alot of money, so it'll wait.

I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

'Standard' paddock stand, works with most bikes with conventional swining arm, widely available, can be picked up very cheap.

'Single Sided' paddock stand. Works with single sided swingers, Pin has to be right diameter for the bike (some dukes are smaller / bigger than Honda etc) usually cost more money.
I can use my convertional stand on most of my bikes but with the VFR's have to use the special stand.
