NC35 RC211V bodywork has been fitted to the ZXR400.

Anyone know SImon, I'd love to hear how difficult it was to fit up. I"m actually looking at trying the Aprilia RSW bodywork for a more modern look on the 400. It's supposed to be slightly wider than the NC35 RC211V bodywork. It's still 2 inches narrower than what I just measured on the Kawi bodywork though.

We all crash though.
The RSW bodywork is just a bit wider than the NC35 RC211V bodywork so I think it will work. Having a scoop in the front for the ram air is good too. I'm in the US so I don't have the options you guys in the UK have.....

Hi there,
I did speak to Simon about the bodywork, which was relatively easy to fit IIRC, but tragically he was killed on the startline at Snetterton, having changed form his beloved zxr400 to a 749 Sound of Thunder Ducati.
His son Max has been selling a lot of their old kit ( he also raced a ZXR) on ebay, I reckon the best way to contact him is via a PM on the motoforum.net site,

Thanks for the info and good thoughts sent to Simon's family. It's always hard to hear about the loss of a fellow racer.

That does not restrict you from buying worldwideAFM327 wrote:We all crash though.I'm in the US so I don't have the options you guys in the UK have.....

Really sad to here about Simon though

There are two ways I only ever want to die though:
A very old man having led a full life with no regrets
or
Splatted on my bike
Everything else in between is a compromise.

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

I think this would look pretty nice with my GP tail.
