I must wait September because the seller is on holyday :smt010

This is my future ZXR, It's a 1996 and it came to Italy from Germany in the 2002, 30.000KM (18700 miles) on it..

After we agreed on the price and we are ready with the documents he sold the bike to another buyer who offered 150 euro (a lot of money,no? :smt011 ) more than me.

Now I want make my ZXR like the SP.

Image

It's really so hard to find the original SP single seat ?
I've have a fiber single seat, but is not the same..
Image

The seat is the same of the "base" model?
The difference is only on the single seat or there is more to change to make a standard ZXR esthetically appear like the sp??

Thanks :smt006

If u can get hold of the seat unit, forks and rear shock, you will then have what looks like an sp. Only way any will know otherwise is if they start looking at carbs and engine internals.

Hi!

I don't want spread it like a real SP..
I just wanna make it like the sp because I like that look :smt002

But the SP was imported in the UK?
Do you have any recommend site to watch to find a SP single rear seat?
The drivers seat pillow of the SP version is the same of the standard model? And the subframe under the seat?

Sorry for the many questions..

As far as i know the SP was imported from Japan to the UK, but never officially sold here.

I dont know any website that sells the SP seat unit, only like what you have already seen posted and thats not exactly the same.

The drivers seat pillow or 'bum pad' as i call it, is only on the SP model, not a a standard model.

Hi Redex..

For "bum pad" ypu mean the n°1?

I know is only for the SP, I'd like to know if the seat (N°2) is the same of the standard ZXR or came specific with the "Single seat unit" :smt002

Hi Davide,

Good to see you got yourself sorted with a Green one - the fastest :smt003

I have original SP seat unit and subframe in my storeroom along with front forks and many other SP parts.
