Shims

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Shims

Post by wes »

After searching I see that someone recommended using shims from Elite MX & Quads, but when I measure my shims they are 7.42 diameter and the ones from Elite are 7.48...a gnats bigger.
Has anyone here used these as they are a fair bit cheaper?

Cheers
Wes

Hi Wes. Sent you a PM but not sure if it sent. The 7.48mm are fine for the ZXR400 and it may well be that the ones you had were just a wee bit smaller than the norm as a few engineers make their own.

Cheers
