a little toy

Post by cargo »

Some of you will have read my thread about missing a Ducati Monster......................................

I've just been out and done a deal for this little baby and it's clearly not a Ducati it's a proper green Kawasaki :excited

Good history and while not perfect it's an honest wee bike thats lived and been used.........................one owner for the past 9 years and he's a ZRX 1100 nut
fresh oil every 2500 miles comes wuth full years MOT...................Tyre size is same as my race 600....................so it'll have lovely sticky tyres................yummy

I'll use it for the summer and if it's as much fun as I think it will be then it's a keeper.....................

They do seem to hold value quite well I saw a few on ebay that were priced a lot more than I've just paid same age same miles etc etc

Just figured that it has the same valve/rocker set up as the 400 so servicing should be easy...................and I've found two good web site devoted to the ZRX 1100

Way ! the stripes are the right way up too :smt003

Any mention of it being cammed yet ? Pipe, jetting and cam's gets them up to 125ish rear wheel :smt004

Enjoyed the one I borrowed the last time I was over - oodles off stuff you can do to them, I'll soon bombard you with parts on the other site :smt002

They also look good with Lime Green wheels - was released one year with them as standard :smt016

Enjoy !
