Alarm help

Post by ETHAN_ZXR »

I have a datatool alarm no idea what model, came on the bike when I brought it but iv recently installed some new indicators and there are two wires for the left and right back indicators from the alarm so that they flash when the alarm is engaged. I installed the rear left indicator no problem but when I installed the right one the alarm engages but the indicators don't flash on either side front or back and then after 5 seconds the alarm goes off. It's a bit of a hard one for me to solve and I can't work it out sorry if my description is no help at all :) but if anyone has every experienced this problem or knows how to solve it I would be grateful for any information thanks

at a guess without seeing it and tracing wires i'd say a short circuit somewhere
