Birmingham Queensway Tunnels

Post by Jamz »

I've had a few tries at capturing the Birmingham Queensway tunnels on various cameras, and every time something has failed. The last time I had a helmet cam and bike mounted cam and both the damn things stopped working before I went through the tunnels at the same time as some random supercars!

Well this time I actually caught it! No high performance cars were there, but they're a classic set of tunnels right on the City centre ring road, and it's about time they were filmed. You can't ride through them normally, you just HAVE to drop a few gears and give it a handful!:

Who needs tyres when you've got knees!!

I know that tunnel.
There are some great ones in London too, I think it's head East from Tower Bridge toward the M11. Might be around an area called Limehouse, but they,re really long.

Both sounded lovely on my Akro R1, kind of like a booming dragon growl. I haven't got a lid or bikecam though so I,m afraid I,m pretty hopeless.
