wheel base

hi,just measured my wheel base,its 1358mm from centre to centre of the axels,its a good bit shorter than what the specs say it should be?i know i changed the forks but the offset difference is only 10 mm coparred to the stock ones,am i measuring it in the wrong place?

Did you give any thought to the idea that perhaps the rear axle can move? like for chain adjustment

the axel is pretty much in the centre of the swing arm.ya i suppose that makes sense,thanks
