There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

My track-day bike specifications. Please advise.

Post by ancozxr »

Hello,

the engine is from full rebuilt, and the use is for track/road racing.

Skimmed-ported-gas flowed head (stock valves)

0.5 pistons

stock camshafts

skimmed the lower base cylinder.

Micron headers + Micron slip-on CPK-38

Dynojet carb's + stock airfilter.

I want to use SP cams (MoriMan can supply me) and the option to increase the rev-limiter (I don't know if this can be).

The SP cams gives better results?

The ignition pickup rotor can be changed with a different to give more adjustment?

steel valves is a must?

Please advise if I can do some better mods to the engine.

Thanks,
Andreas
