Thanks so much for all of the ideas and help from all of you on the forum. This is my 94 ZXR400. Shipped from Japan in boxes by a Navy couple. 25,000 Kilometers on the odometer. I squeaked in one track day so far and will be hitting up some more next year.

So far:
05 ZX6RR front end to replace the pitted stockers
K&N air filter to replace the dry rotted foam unit
R&G frame sliders, Intuitive designs fork sliders...because I am clumsy
Ebay LED turn signals (they suck in the sunlight)
10k Resistor to remove governor.

Fun to come:
01 GSXR 1000 rear shock to replace the leaking rock of a factory shock
32mm carbs to upgrade from the 30mms on it now
rear spools
ZX6 coil on plug
stainless braided brake lines
adjustable rear set plates
ZX6 Track fairings?!?!?!

Looks lovely with that front end, what was involved to get it to fit?

Slide out the 400 forks. Slide in the 600. No machining required

Good stuff , got the same forks sitting in my cupboard with a converted L yoke for going onto my ZRX

How did you resolve the speedo drive ?

Speedo? Whats a speedo?

I have none at the moment. If motivated (aka funded) I was looking at a ZZR600 cluster that is an electrically driven unit using a sensor on the front sprocket. Which could be shifted to the front fork easily enough. The tach is high enough to use as well. Not really concerned with it. I seem to be puttering around slow enough to not worry about it or fast enough that it wouldn't matter.

Done the same for a while until I got busted for speeding

I had been considering a mechanical NSR250 sprocket driven drive and grafting it to fit. I've got a digital speedo just now with the front pick-up but would be nice to keep the front as clean as possible looking

What year of ZZR has the electronic one ?

It was a 2000 I believe because it was still tarted up as a ZX6. Easy to tell due to the wires going to the sensor on the front sproket are very visible.
