did mine today wanted 110, but told them i was offered 66 (which was swinton but with 550 excess!) and they came back with an offer of 86! tpft - went for it as figured bikes only worth 1k or less and if i had a crash that was that big (touch wood) i probably wouldnt be too keen to get back on the bike

Mine this year's not bad - £185. That was after Bennetts tried to charge me £407 - a jump up of nearly eighty quid from last year, despite me getting my first year's NCB and license held.

Then when I tried to cancel, they initially tried to convince me I was outside the 14 day cooling off, and would have to pay 40% of the overall policy plus charges, which would have negated any saving I'd have made switching to MCE.

Assholes.
Vard.

Did you get an online quote from Carole Nash? It's usually a few hundred cheaper than the renewal they post to you. :smt002 Renewal prices are to get money off the lazy people who can't be bothered to look for themselves...

don't go with bennetts!!
They are a bunch of :wanker

Also, don't pay for legal cover - these guys do it for free if you ever need it:
http://www.bldgroup.co.uk/

and courtesy bike - bikecrashline. Get you a bandit 1200 within a few hours.

Your leathers are covered by your home contents insurance most of the time,

and to be fair, any time I would claim for any of this stuff would be if the accident isn't my fault. Which it never is. :smt003

get a quote from www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk

Igot insurance from performance direct for a pittance with a cheeky low excess.
