Gurgle sound
Hi all
Ive just had my bike serviced and tuned. Was well needed as apparently who ever had the bike last hadnt a clue what they were doing and rewired it wrong and had it running on 2 cylinders!!! runs perfectly now tho and sounds so much better ..was happy doing 90mh in 2nd gear and still sounded amazing. One thing ive noticed tho is after a ride when i put it on the side stand it starts to gurgle, bubbling sound coming from the radiator(maybe)..not sure if its overheating, cooling down, overfilled or if shes just singing away after a ride out...any advice/help would be appreciated as shes going across france and spain in a few weeks and want to sort out any problems before i leave.

Re: Gurgle sound
From what ive found out,
Its the pressure being released from the cooling system into the expansion bottle. Nothing to worry about.
And dont be doing 90 in 2nd gear, you are just gonna damage the engine.
BTW well done for finally passing your test, where did u end up going?

Re: Gurgle sound
Cheers for the heads up,
I have been down the shop all week servicing it, new chain n sprockets, changed the coolant etc etc.
Paul seems to have done a good build on mine, dead smooth and fills me with confidence.
If your clutch starts to rattle, dont worry about it, its a good think from a kawasaki.

2, i havent got loads of info about a ZXR400 but i have been reading these forums for months, and speaking to bike mechanics who explained to me about why the gurgling happens.
