Post by tobomoto »

hey all. ive been on here for a while and i thought its about time i put some pics up of it. unfortunately i dont have any of when i first got it,
these are about the earliest pics ive got. i had just finished putting the rear seat unit on it and resprayed the side panels, awaiting to get the rest painted.

it was going so well, until...

admittedly it wasnt as bad as it looked. (mental note- zxr's, central reservations and a happy right hand dont mix!) what really annoyed me most was id only got the panels sprayed 3 days before!! so there started the rebuild. i got some panels of rich(millameter) a while ago and had them sitting for a while until i had the money to pay for them. once i had the money and parts i started to get things sorted. heres how it sits now.

its still not competely finished but ive run out of time as im going travelling on saturday. i still need to mot , tax and insure it but i will get it done when i get back. when i get back im after getting some carbon bits for it, some rearsets, brembo braking system, 6 pot calipers and generally improving everything. ill be keeping it for another 6 years then ill be signing it to my nephew. ill be getting another bike when i get back, probably somthing like a husky or a ccm.
anything is possible with enough time and money. and an open mind...

i really liked them as well but i had an incident with a central reservation and all the panels got damaged, apart from the tank panel and the hugger. im crap with fibreglass repairs so i thought id start again from scratch. did look good though, apart from the bird crap on it! :smt005 and the missus also wanted to start going out on it.
