SH*T FERK oil change ....

bought some 10w/40 from halfords thought yay change the oil . ready for next week if i get teh clear from the hospital ..

get under the bike WTF!!!! NO SUMP PLUG!!!.



so i kinda farted about thinking WTF its been welded over i assume someoen overtightend it and cracked the sump ....


so after 10 mins or so i too the filter off and the pipes goign to the oil cooler . and craked the engine over with the plugs out so it spat most of the oil out... (probaly shouldnt do this )


and then left it drippign for an hour or so. then put fresh filter on and put hoses back on cooler. then filled back up with oil . now nice and fresh admitedly yhere will be a slight amount of old oil in there. but best i could do without taking the sump off an exhausts etc

Are you sure you didn't miss it? lol!

Assuming you're talking about an L model, if it's just got a lump of weld over the alloy casing, I'm not sure I'd trust that!

H model . its just been ally welded smooth . i couldnt beleive it .

where the rusty bolt is. there is just smooth doesnt even look like its been welded!!! ><

haha. wouldn't it have been easier to suck the oil out? i suppose it would be hard if you don't have an extractor of some sort..

and the bike is stripped down atm so plugs out was a case of just pull them out
