A Favour

Post by parby81 »

Could some one get there multimeter out for me and take a couple of voltage reading in the junction box?

Take the fuse out of the Headlight (lo) socket. Test both socket sides. Should be 0v

Turn the ignition on (lights off and not running) and re-test the voltages. Tell me what you get. One should be battery voltage. Whats the other? (I think it should be 0v but i'm getting 1.5v - me thinks i have a short circuit somewhere)

Many Thanks, it'll only take you five minutes

don't worry, found it. there is a short circuit in the junction box. think i may have fixed it, which seems to have sorted out the indicator problem too.
