i was attracted by the insurance too. it's fun enough for me. i mostly commute to work anyways. no joy rides... no plans to replace it unless i double my salary.arkell wrote:Can only really afford to insure a 400cc bike at the moment, and the zxr is the largest of all 400 sportsbikes i believe. I love it though-hope to keep it even if I do upgrade in a couple years time! You could always get a bigger bike...![]()
sounds like a plan!I fitted a solid race seat, and used race foam. Its only lifted the height by about an inch, but it is right now...

Think about some bespoke rear sets, you obviously need the peg to floor ground clearance, how about if they were the same height and moved back a few inch?

I've sorted it now, added about 2.5 cm to my seat height by taking the cover off, adding some carpet cut to size under the foam, and then recover it using a staple gun and original cover! The added couple of cm definitely makes a difference!

Some body once told me... Theres only two things in life you'll ever need, Gaffa tape and WD40.
If it moves and it should'nt use Gaffa tape, if it doesnt move and it should use WD40!
