Hi,

Yeah but how much will they save your fairing in a spill? They look really short maybe 6cm? I bought some a while back that where 9cm long and still scuffed my fairing qiute bad, so I made some myself at 11cm long! they even clear the micron link pipe which some people have damaged even WITH bungs, am I right? Couple of months after I fitted my custom bungs, I dropped my zxr outside my house because I was dieing for a wee  Done no damage what so ever :tease

Hi,

I was in that situation where your stomach muscles tighten and I couldn't get my leg over the back seat, oh almost forgot, I had a backpack on with a gallon of 10W 40 oil :pmsl

Here's what I got, now these are the cheapest on Ebay :smt002
Buy 2 of them and you'll be well away.

I don't think any bungs will totally save your fairing. The bigger ones mean you'll get away with dropping it off the stand but anything over walking speed it's still going to make a mess.

I could be wrong here, but I think they were originally meant to save the frame on race bikes rather than the actual fairing?

Or I could just be trying to justify the cheap tiny ones I fitted to my 9r whick might just about stop my carbs getting scuffed! :smt003
Who needs tyres when you've got knees!!

bungs are mainly for things like the frame, the fairing is going to get a bashing what ever! It might help stop them smashing but the paint is still going to get messed up.

aye, like said its the frame you want to save. The fairing just pure luck.
The problem with big ones, if they dig in.....your bikes gonna flip
