missus is after an ipod with a decent speaker to get rid of the bulky hifi in the kitchen, i know bugger all about em i'm assuming all ipods play music? seen some ipod photos on ebay i take it they play music too? anyone got any recommendations? looking at 10gb or more, anyone got one for sale?

Yeah mate they all play music n some of them play videos too.

I've got a 30GB ipod video u can have for £60 if ur interested.

Fully working, ive got an ipod touch now so i never use it, charger n USB lead included.

yea if you got the money go for a touch. they have wi-fi so if you have it in your house you can install "D" tunes that gives free music downloads. any tune you like.

Yeah touches are great but not all ipod stereos are compatable so u need to make sure u buy one that is.

yea a touch will dock like that too. just have to make sure it says it will fit. should say on the box.

Overall i'm pretty impressed with the quality, did have a spot of trouble connecting the speakers at first, but was fine after switching the channels.

Obviously these can't match upto the proper hifi speakers etc, but good for the size imo.

Its not just making sure the touch fits into the dock but that it's actually compatible with the dock.

well the speaker i posted above is compatible with all ipods so no problems there.
