If poss can one of you fellas give me some measurements....
Centre to centre of the 2 rear engine mounts.........(Zzr6 is 220mm)
Internal size between the rear mounts......(Zzr upper rear is 115mm, lower is 180mm)
This is to give me a rough idea as to how easy/pain in the ass it will be to fity a motor..
The other question is ...If I bring in a non-compliance plated frame..what hoops will I have to jump through to get it legal ??

Re: Frame/engine measurements & compliance issues
How are you sharky, the lower and upper are 180mm apart and vertically inline on the left side.
the lower is 150mm between tabs
the upper is 100mm between tabs
with 10mm bolts
As for compliance. If you are putting the 600 gear on it I would use the compliance plates off that.
cheers mate

Ok.....so much for the 'bolts straight in' theory....Both the rear mounts, upper and lower, are narrower than zzr6 and closer together too....
As for the comp plate ??? It will have the zzr6 VIN No. on it.....
I'm gonna widen my search...looking at 636 frames as well now....
