different colour hoover pipe

out of interest is there anywhere i can buy different coulour hoover pipe? was considering painting mine but when i thought about it i realised it would probably flake off n look toad

there are places around the net that you can get different colored pipes but how you go about fitting it is a different story as the ends that go into the tank cover are moulded to the pipes.

mines got jubilee clips attatching the pipe to the bit that slots into the tank,do you have any links to anywhere as ive done a quick search and cant find anything

you could always get some pipe off a Dyson vac, i'm sure the diameter is a bit bigger but could slide it over the existing ones?

I know for definite they will sell you your chosen length of hoover tube from a market stall outside the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch - it's like a hardware type stall selling batteries and watches and all that crap. I'm sure they're all over the place, or maybe we should organise a bulk buy?

i would mate but i go into redditch town about twice a year, measure the diameter of the hoover pipes for us.
