Hi,
Straight to the point, I'm after the egg shaped looking clamps that hold the downpipes to the engine. Mine are rather bent (previous owners) and by the looks of it, where I've tightened the nuts up, the studs have followed the clamps bent shape and have now bent my studs aswell! I was just gonna go out and but new clamps, but where the hell can I get the same ones? Exhuast studs I'm not too worried about (1 phone call to legendary Cradley Kawasaki will fix them)
Regards
Rich

How will you get the clamps off pipes 2 and 3? The exhaust spring attachments are in the way.

Id say micron themselves but since they gone down the pan, i dunno. I guess an exhausts specialist might be a good start, theres Predator Motorsport over in Welwyn Garden City which is as near to you as i can think of.

Exactly what I'm getting.
I daren't bend them back into shape incase they snap.

They wont snap. Mine are the same. You don't need to do the studs up that tight. Just enough to bend the clamps which bush back against the nuts on the studs. You've obviously over tightened them, I would be careful, If you snap a stud its an absolute giraffe of a job to fix. I speak from experience.

You could always heat it up a bit first.MillaMeter wrote:Hi,masterofinsanity wrote:i just emailed them asking what the situation was and the email bounced back so who knows?
