Agree with the 30k myself but if your tensioner is on full travel and the blades are worn i would be replacing the lot - doing the blades you'll find your tensioner using up half travel and very soon you'll be at it again!

Split link chains don't last as long but with these engines aren't necessary.

Again, if your very heavy handed with your throttle from low rev's your loading the engine and the chain so it's all relative to your driving.

I weigh it up against "thrashing" like fook and spending a few quid to do so :smt001

Take it easy and it's cheap to run/service :smt002
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

£51 delivered, so that aint bad
