I beg to differ.Jeppo wrote:Cept the veyron is bloody amazing in every way (cept fuel consumption) and does top every other road going car!!Its a bit like the bugatti veyron, just a 'technical exercise'.![]()
There's a reason why nobody races them / even does track days in them. 2 tons + aerodynamics designed purely for top speed = shite handling.
I don't even think they look that nice either. Also sound poor aswell.

Because there ridiculously expensive?? Don't know about the handling tbh but i've never heard anyone complain about it.There's a reason why nobody races them / even does track days in them.
There more collectors cars i suppose, I like the sound, and each to their own on looks i suppose, but i nearly ran into the car in front of me when i saw one going the other way

Re: NR750 anyone?
Saw a desmodeci RR for sale last week for £35k 3000 miles (track use only) been crashed twice but fully repaired by ducati both times. (so expensive, impossible to write off.)
I know which I'd rather have.

Re: NR750 anyone?
That reminds me, I think theres only one trained mechanic in each country that they were sold thats qualified to service an NR750 too.

Re: NR750 anyone?
You used to own a VFR400 didnt you?
How much effort was it to change the plugs on the two front cylinders?
I dont know to be honest, thats what i read in a bike magazine im sure. Im also guessing the training involves a lot more than just plugs and filters.

Re: NR750 anyone?
If it's like the 750 then the radiator, tank, airbox and all the fairing have to come off to get to the front two cylinders, and it IS a complete pain in the butt! Still so much easier than similar jobs on modern cars, though...RedexRobB wrote:You used to own a VFR400 didnt you?

The NR had some reliability issues unlike the conventional V4's, too...

Re: NR750 anyone?
I think ts stems more from thier way of working round problems and doing the very difficult, in doing those it makes working on them a pain in the back side. I remember balancing the carbs on my friends VFR400, theres me thinking its an hours job as it is on a ZXR, 5 hours later.............

Re: NR750 anyone?
I do have tiny japanese hands. I can change the headlight bulb on my honda civic without taking the whole thing out. Apparently, that's quite a feat in itself.
My boyfriend likes that I have small hands too, makes everything else seem bigger
