indicator issues

Post by gesch78 »

Hi all,

bit of a problem with my indicators. The right side are both working fine but the left front is now permanently on (not flashing) when used and the rear left is not working at all. Any ideas?!?

(sorry if this has been covered off before, I did look!)

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Ill betya 100 quid that the rear left is eithr blown or has come out of the socket, or the bullet connectors have come off for that light!

They are wired in such a way that if one of the bulbs blow, that side wont work.

exactly as rob says, if one bulb blows the other will stay on permanently.

Cheers guys,

this is my first bike and I have no experience at all with fixing stuff so your help is really appreciated! Is it easy to replace the bulbs and where can I get replacements?

Easy Peasy, where the lense cover is theres should be a small screw, undo that and the lens cover should pull off. Simply push the bulb in and unscrew.

You should be able to get a replacement from Halfords, take it in with you so you can match it up, taking note of the ratings eg 12V, 5 watt etc...

Failign that your nearest kwak dealer will rpoabbyl stock them too :smt001
