Dampers
I have just bought a ZXR 400 and my mate who has a GXR 600 has dampers on his steering, he road my bike the other day and said I should fit them. I have read that ZXR's are a bit wobbly on bad roads, Can anyone tell me is it worth fitting steering dampers to my ZXR 400. Thanks.........

Re: Dampers
i would'nt meself untill it felt unstable enough for you to think, f*** i really need a steering damper.
Ive got one on my racebike, but only cos ive increased the steering rake angle by a lot.
If its standard, then i dont think they need them.

Re: Dampers
what Jake said really .. i ran zxr's for years without one.. racebike needs one, but its a LOT steeper than a road setup.

Re: Dampers
I've not altered the front end set up on my race bikes and find that a stering damper is useful for the kind of real racing that I do.
