There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Rear brake caliper and f400 regs

Post by will#224 »

Can i swap it for a light weight caliper?

i'm struggling to find any definitive info in the acu regs or the club regs. Most club regs seem to suggest its run under acu and the acu gives little info in my opinion.

It looks like i can swap out and do anything i like to the bike except run fuel injection at the moment.

should be ok,

rmkd's bike runs a scooter caliper and a custom hanger to relocate it over the swingarm

Which club regs are you looking at?

If it's bemsee, then you'd be ok with anything :smt002

Can't speak for other clubs, but I'd serioulsy be looking at other things before the expense of a rear caliper change :smt002 , assuming you want to be able toput in a faster laptime that is :smt003
