My forks on my l model have got showa written on them
It aint a sticker it looks like part of the casting, they look like forks from other zxrs i've seen but i've not seen any with showa written on them.
Whats all that about?

well the standard rear shock is a showa unit iirc. No reason why the front shouldnt be. where abouts on the casting is it?

lower fork leg, the ally casting that holds the wheel spindle.
Im not concerned by it just wondered why it appeared to be different to everyone elses.

pretty sure the forks are showas but cant say i have ever noticed the casting? unusual

i'll try get some pics for you before i strip them, the bottom of the leg appears painted and is a bit scruffy, when they go to maxton i'll get them anodised.

the l model, the h doesn't have anything like.
i wondered at first if they were sp forks but i'm pretty sure they aren't

youll know if they are because theres will be an adjuster screw for the damping not far below the brake caliper mount.
