i was riding like a (cheese) puff !!
i have just found the joys of riding my ZXR with full throttle openings through the gears, it bloody tears along, i have had it five years and restored it ,but been riding it how i thought was fast then last week accidntly grabbed all the throttle in third exiting a corner and was off like a shot , and with the Metzeler M1 tyres on its off we go, shame summer is nearly over .

lol..
previous owner of our ZX4 had been doing the same... pootling about quite happy for 2 years .. unintentionally gave it some beans one day and strayed over 10,000rpm .. scared herself, decided it wasnt for her, sold it and bought a cb500.

Re: i was riding like a (cheese) puff !!
i dont use it much as i have a knackered back from a mountain bike crash (downhill) years ago, the riding position does me in, but i like 90's sports bikes not to keen on nakeds plus i love the handling of thr ZXR, and as i said earlier i have put a lot of time into cleaning and getting into mint cond that its going to be a keeper for now, i am the second owner from new (it's a 99 L5) and got it from the original supplying dealer, always get great comments on how clean it is when i go anywhere etc.
