Carrying a Pillion

Post by Wabby »

Just a quick question guys:

Will the ZXR carry 2 people (Rider = 17 Stone, Pillion = 11 Stone) easily?

Was going to take bike to Donnington next weekend (around 70 miles) and was just checking first.

Will also have a rucksack of around 10 kilos.

Cheers

Should be fine, just make sure tyre pressures are good and take it easy, it wont handle the same laden up with two fully grown adults on it.

i think, theres a pressure for passengers your meant to have thats listed in the owners manual if you have one. You cant go wrong with standard settings at front 32psi and rear 36psi tho. Also bear in mind your headlight will be pointing at the sky!
